Albert Camus

I’ve been reading a bit about Albert Camus’ theories when I was in college. But I never knew what this guy actually look like. Recently I went to a book store and spot this book:

It’s a good book, there’s quite more that you can extract into your brain. Not just the matter of the content, but the comprehensive way of writing and explaining (which I was never good at) is something I can take note of. Back to the hot geek, well I’m actually speechless lol. I’m just fan-girling this social theorist and I slept with this book in hand these 4-5 days (yeah, see his face in the book cover? That’s it).  About his theory, hmmm I haven’t finished reading the part of essay reviewing it, but I’m still noting down things I found or disagree in the book.

a song in a rainy sunday

Recently I’ve been thinking a lot. Why people are doing this and that, how can people be so envious, unconsciously, even to their very own best friend? Why is everything so political, even in friendship? Why do people overrated themselves as a ego reaction to take another down? Why do people hurt the one they love just because of their own fear? Whatever it is, in the end, people blame someone else for their own blunder.

Maybe this is the answer:

Seems like everybody’s got a price,
I wonder how they sleep at night.
When the sale comes first,
And the truth comes second,
Just stop for a minute and smile

This song is titled “price tag” by Jessie J. I agree jess, everybody’s got a price. And when you see a higher mark on other’s label, you forgot who you are, who they are, and everything essential even when you think you’re perfectly fine.

So yes…in the end I wonder, how would you sleep at night?
